Royals T-shirt Days!

It’s back again this year… the World Series in Kansas City!! To support our hometown boys in blue, again this year we are going to allow ROYALS T-SHIRTS in class on game days! So this week, students can wear a Royals t-shirt instead of their uniform tops on Tuesday, 10/27, Wednesday, 10/28, and Saturday, 10/31! Should the series continue into next week, Royals shirts will be allowed on Tuesday, 11/3 and Wednesday, 11/4 as well!

Remember, only Royals shirts will be allowed in lieu of uniform tops. No other t-shirts are acceptable! If your student doesn’t want to wear a Royals shirt, no problem, but they will need to wear full uniform instead.

If you have any questions, let us know! If you are a Mets fan, sorry!

Thank you!

December Belt Testing

We would like to give everyone a heads up on the December belt testing times so you can get them on your calendars!

Tiger Tots will graduate Wednesday and Thursday, December 16th and 17th, during normal class times. So whichever day your tot attends class will also be the day he or she will test!

On Saturday, December 19th the rest of the school will graduate. Adults will go first at 9:30 a.m. Rising Stars will follow at 11:30 a.m. Junior Basic students will graduate at 12:30 p.m., and Junior Intermediate/Advanced students will go last at 1:30 p.m.

Please remember brown belts and above must participate in the regular testing. There are no make-up tests for anyone brown belt or higher.

New Schedule Starts Tonight!

Don’t forget that our new schedule begins today!! We hope to see all of our Leadership program juniors in Judo class at 6:45 p.m., immediately following Jr. intermediate and advanced class!!

Also, we begin our new curriculum tonight. So tots, junior basic, and adults will need KAMAS for this rotation, and junior intermediate and advanced will need the BOKKEN/WOODEN SWORD. We have both weapons available in our pro shop, so you can purchase what you need this week if you don’t already have the current weapon!!

Around The World Summer Camp and Summer Break

This is a quick reminder that the last day to enroll in Around the World summer camp is Wednesday, July 15th! We still have a few spots available, so register your camper asap!

Also, several students have asked when our annual summer break will be this year. The school will be closed from Saturday, August 8th through Saturday, August 15th for summer break. There will be no classes, team practices, or combat fitness during the break week. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the rest time, and have plenty of time to get ready to go back to school during the week off!

If you have any questions, let us know!
